Division A newcomers Saxan seriously preparing for new season

FC Saxan are seriously preparing for the new football season in Division A and are ready to rival any opponents.

Having placed first in Division B (South) last season, Saxan got promoted to the second tier of Moldovan football. There is less than a week to go until the Championship but the team is holding exhibition matches.

The side faced Victoria Barder that placed first in Division B (Centre) in the first exhibition match.

The game was tense, though the sides settled for a 1-1 draw. Mihai Cojusea, Andrei Donici, Vasile Arlet, and Vladimir Suruceanu were in Saxan's starting 11.

The Ceadîr-Lunga-based team played the second game against Zimbru's second team. This time, more goals were scored but the game still ended in a draw (2-2).

Mihai Cojusea was not in the Division A newcomers' line up though it featured  Andrei Negara.

The Moldova Football Championship will kick off on August 13. Saxan will play against Olimpia-2 away in the first round.
