Zalina Marghiev has won the gold medal at the hammer throwing contest at the Open Ukrainian Championship. The 21 years old athlete registered a result of 70 m 40 cm. Last month, Zalina Marghiev registered a new national record of 71 m 56 cm.
The bronze medal was won by Zalina sister, Marina. Her result is 65 m 72 cm.
The younger brother of Marghiev sisters, Sergiu is on the 6th place at the contest for the U-17 participants. He showed a result of 59 m 30 cm.
The three athletes are trained by their father Soslan Marghiev.
