7 Moldavian sportsmen with brilliant results on the international sportive arena declared that they are ready to retire

There are 7 sportsmen that have announced their retirement from the great sport since the beginning of this year. Among them are champions and prizewinners of the Olympic Games, World and European Championships.  

According to the Nezavisimaea Moldova News Agency, the boxers Vitalie Grusac and Igor Samoilenco, weightlifters Vladimir Popov, Igor Bour and Vadim Vacarciuc, the fighters Ghenadie Tulbea and Victor Bivol have retired from the great sport.  

Vitalie Grusac is the beholder of the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Sydney. Igor Samoilenco is the prizewinner of the European Championship. Vladimir Popov, Igor Bour and Vadim Vacarciuc have won numerous medals at the European and World Championships. Victor Bivol is retiring as a double European Champion. Ghenadie Tulbea is the vice-champion of the last World Championship. All of them have sent letters to the National Sport Agency for getting their life pensions.
