Tennis players came back from international competitions with 3 medals

Moldavian table tennis players won three medals at the 16th international tournament In Memory of Janos Molnar. No Moldavian player has ever climbed up onto the podium of this prestigious tournament before. Over three hundred junior players from 17 countries participated in this year's competitions in Budapest.

Vladimir Semipeadnii, coach:

 "It was a tough competition, most Europe's strongest players participated in this tournament. Our children are very talented".

Andrei Putuntica became the hero of the tournament. He won two medals - a gold one in the U-13 age group and a bronze one in the U-12 category. Victor Cissa also exceeded all expectations. He had a goal of taking a place close to the top three but won a silver medal in the U-15 age group.

Experts think that the young players will have a great future because the winners of the tournament become tennis stars after a time, as a rule.
