The MoldavianDonior Islamov (55 kg) obtained the 5th position at the European Greeko-Roman Fighting Championship, organised inTbilisi. In the match for the bronze medal he gave up in front of the turkish wrestlerErhan Karakus, even if he was leading the first round with4-1.
the 5th position is the best result shown by the Moldavian wrestlers of the Greko-Roman at the recentchampionship.Donior Islamov was born inFloreşti and is training at the Republican Lyceum with a Sportive Direction.
