In Moldova was found a ghost Rowing Federation!

6 rowers from Transnistria participated in the international Rowing contest in Moscow. Those who stepped on the second step of the podium with the Moldavian flag in their hands did this without the knowledge of the Ministry of Youth and Sports from Moldova. And about our country's successes they found out in newspapers.

International rules prohibit the participation to the competitions of the National Squads without the knowledge of the Ministry, no matter of the amount they spend. 

Academic rowing is practiced in Moldova just in Tiraspol and Bender, but are unde the authority of the Moldavian Rowing Federation. The existence of a ghost Academic Rowing Federation has puzzled everybody. 

In Russia there is better known about the Moldavian Academic Rowing Federation. On a site were published the comments of the main coach of the National Rowing squad present at the tournament in Russia, Vasile Manuşin, who was satisfied with his disciples. The same Manuşin is the President of the Academic Rowing Federation in Transnistria, which has sent six sportsmen to an international tournament, without bothering the Ministry od Sports.
