Live from the World Boxing Championship organized in Milano!

The Moldavian boxers continue their performances at the World Boxing Championship in Milano. We are going to show you movies with all the fights from this championship, and of course the program of our sportsmen

Our boxers started victoriously their performances at the World Championship.

On the 2^nd of September, Veaceslav Gojan (54 kg), fought with the Finish Malti Kootu. Even if it was 5-5, our boxer was the one to go further due to some additional criteria. On the same day, Victor Cotiujanschi (75 kg) defeated Dick Cho (South Korea), score 16-6.

On the 3^rd of September, Vasile Belous (69 kg) was sent off by Imre Bashkai from Hungary, score 4-17.

On the 4^th of September, Alexandru Rîşcan (51 kg) was defeated by Jean-Piere Fernandez from Cuba.

On the 5^th of September, Gojan will face the Chinese boxer Gu Iu, while Cotiujanschi will fight against Chuluuntur Timurhuiag (Mongolia).

On the 6^th of September our two last participants will start the competition. These are Vladimir Cheleş (81 kg) and Mihai Muntean (91 kg). Cheleş will fight against Abdelhaid Benchabla from Algeria, and Muntean will face Mohamed Gosson (Siria).  

The World Championship gathered this year 554 boxers from 133 countries all over the world. It will end up on the 12^th of September.
