The European Chess Championship conciliated the main chess players of Moldova

In Montenegro the European Chess Championship is till going on. In the competition participate also 4 Moldavian chess players.

After the first 4 rouds, Viorel Bologan and Viorel Iordachescu sum up by 4 points each. The two met in the 7^th round. Iordachescu played with the white, while Bologan, who had an advantage of more than 100 points in rating, with the black ones.

The match ended with a draw.

The two have at the moment by 4,5 points each, while the leader Andrei Volochitin gathered 6 points. In the 8^th round, Bologan will play with Serghei Jigalko from belarus on the 19th chessboard. Iordachescu will play with Serghei Tiveacov, the representant from Holland. The two will play on the 21st chessboard.

Dumitru Svetuschin (4 points), with the white, will play against the russian Daniil Lincevski on the 55th chessboard.

The national champion, Sergiu Vedmediuc (3,5 points) will meet Ante Saric from Croatia on the 80th chessboard. The Moldavian player will have the black pieces.

The European Championship will finish on the 18^th of March.
