The president will not attend the President Cycling Cup!

The main question of the 7th edition of the President Cycling Cup is not who will take the trophy, but who will hand it to the winner. The traditional President Cycling Cup takes place this year in the absence of the main hero. The President will attend the official part of the competition, just because the new head of the state was not chosen so far, and Mihai Ghimpu is gone at a conference in Cyprus. The organisers have refused to change the name of the tournament. Unstable political situation in the country should not affect the sport.

Although no one knows who will reward the winners, the organizers busily prepare the awards. The first two winners will leave the competition on new bikes, worthing 1500 euros. Also for them were prepared two bronze bicycles, with the logo of the Cycling Federation from Moldova printed on.

All the prizes will be awarded to the winners on Sunday, on the closing day of the competition.
