One of the three footballers who left Zimbru this winter found a new team. The midfielder Andrei Cojocari signed a contract with the team from Latvia Metallurg Liepaja. The 22 years old player thanked the management of his new club for the patience they proved to have during the negotiations with Zimbru.
The sum of the transfer and the duration of the agreement were not announced officially.
Andrei Cojocari left Zimbru at the end of this winter after a reduction of his salary.
After the first 2 rounds, Metallurg is dividing the first place with the Skonto Riga team.
Andrei Cojocari will be the third Moldavian footballer to perform in the championship of Latvia. Igor Tigirlas and Alexandru Dedov are legitimated at Ventspils.
