The referee Victor Stână was the weakest point in the game Zimbru – Viitorul. Zimbru – Viitorul 1-1

Zimbru Chişinău has done another mistake in this championship. This time, the squad coached by Ivan Tabanov drew with 1-1 against Viitorul. Zimbru were so poor on the attacking phase, that the result registered by the end of the match mirrors the whole game.

The main hero of the match is the main referee Victor Stână and his two helpers Oleg Molceanov and Sergiu Beşliu.

In the 25th minute of the match one of the Zimbru players injured Alexandru Maximov, the captain of the opponents' team. Stână was not attentive at this moment. In just some moments Maximov "attacked" Iulian Erhan's legs. The Zimbru forward could not handle the situation and injured Maximov badly. Finally, Maximov received a yellow card, while Erhan was sent off the field. The decision taken by the referee was a right one.

The uncertain phases are just beginning to appear.

In the 40th minute of the match, Andrei Chirşul sent the ball into the posts. The assistant Molceanov raised the flag for the offside and the absolutely deserved goal was not accepted by the main referee. Nobody knows what saw Molceanov at this phase and why was not the goal accepted: for a fault, offside or for some other reasons, not known by the crowd?

The team from Orhei protested loudly at this moment, but the result on the table remained unchanged.

Just in two minutes, the young Zimbru defender, Maxim Boghiu, who, by the way, proved an interesting match, had hands in the penalty area. And the whistle of the referee was never heard.

The first goal of the match came in the 50th minute. Alexandru Maximov who was in an offside position could not play the ball from the very beginning. Just with the help of Vladimir Dragovozov, the goal was finally scored. The Zimbru president protested at this moment, asking for explanations from the observer of the game ghenadie scurtul.

At the end of the game, Scurtul commented upon this phase: "According to the new rules, the initial offside position disappears if the ball is played by another footballer. In this situation the goal is valid."

Zimbru players drew in 8 minute. Their scorer in this championship, Radu Catan, scored phantastic goal right from the corner.

Till the end of the match, the two did not shine too much in the attacking phase, and the referee Stână was still whistled for other minor decisions.

After the match

Igor Oprea, Viitorul head coach:

"Frankly speaking, the red card for Erhan was the key moment of the game. We achieved our target. It is difficult to face Zimbru, which is a much better team. I want to thank my players for their game, It was an interesting match."

Ivan Tabanov, Zimbru head coach:

"The European League matches, alongside with the championship ones against Iskra and Dacia, made the players to think that they can do everything. All they have to do is to realize that every single match has to be treated as serious as possible."

This is the way the two coaches commented the job done by the referee:.

Igor Oprea, Viitorul head coach:

"The referee of the match had done some mistakes for the disadvantage of the both teams. Frankly speaking, the arbitration cannot be better than the level of the championship, and viceversa.

Ivan Tabanov, the Zimbru head coach:

"We have to win the match by ourselves. The referees did not trouble us when we won."

We just have to wait to see what mark Victor Stână will be offered for this match and what will be the reaction of the Moldova Football Federation Commission.
