Playing in Kazakhstan, Nicolae Orlovschi still keeps in touch with Olimpia and keeps track of the team's performance.
- Hello, Nicolae. Do you know the result of the Olimpia - Sheriff match in Bălţi?
- Of course! Being thousands of kilometers away from home, I try to keep track of Moldavian football and especially Olimpia. Thanks to modern technology, I can find out news not only from Moldova, but from the whole world. Moreover, I watched the live streaming broadcast of the whole Olimpia-Sheriff match and rooted for the guys. I wish I could play in that game and help the team but I was with them in my mind for the whole 90 minutes.
- Did Olimpia's win surprise you?
- Of course, a win over Sheriff is always a sensational result. But Olimpia are difficult opponents for the Yellow-and-Blacks, considering the results of the last games in the national championship.
Frankly, I was sure that Olimpia would not lose. Besides, it is the first home match of the year and the team enjoys support of many fans in Bălţi.
- You will be in Kazakhstan until winter. How do you like it there?
- I don't have a reason to complain but I miss Olimpia and home very much. I hope that one day Moldavian footballers will not have to leave their home country for other championships in order to make some career achievements and support their family.
