The National Handball Championship has started up with a row. The Handball Federation declared the club from Chişinău, Fortuna-Tulcea to be defeated in the first played match versus Olimpus.
The reason for that are the misunderstandings in the blanks' filling in, which were wrong for some of the Fortuna players. The game finished with a draw. But immediately after the match, the Olimpus administration wrote a petition to the Federation, which decided to declare Fortuna the defeated one with the final score of 0-10.
In the 2nd round, Olimpus was defeated by the team from Tiraspol, UPS, with the result of 31-29. With two victories in two played games, UPS is now leading the classment with 4 gathered points.
