The match between the National Rugby Team of Moldova and Poland was postponed

The match between the National Rugby Team of Moldova and Poland, which had to be played today of the 2011 World Championships Qualifying Campaign was postponed. Today, the polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife were killed when the plane was attempting to land at Smolensk-North airport in Russia.

There were no survivors on the plane, which was carrying senior Polish government officials on a trip to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Katyn events during the 2nd world war.

Heavy fog and human error are the possible causes of the plane crash in Russia.

In Poland, April 10th was announced a day of mourning and all sporting events and other festivities were postponed.

The National Rugby Team of Moldova is currently in Poland.
