Chişinău hosted the Moldova Shooting Cup, a tournament that gathered at the starting point the best sportsmen of this category. In the Men's compressed air gun competition, Valeriu Negreba became the winner, gathering 1.146 points. Valeriu was followed by Anatol Corovai and Victor Cosmin.
Diana Negreba showed a brilliant result in the pneumatic gun contest, gaining 742 points in 40 trials. The podium was also climbed by Marina Zgurschi and Anastasia Ursan. Constantin David followed Diana's success in the same category in the Men's contest. In those 2 trials, Constantin gained 1.159 points. Sergiu Luchianeţ was the second, while Eugen Banari managed just the last position. Tatiana Stavarachi, with 789 points became the winner of the same category in the Women's contest, followed by Gabriela Tucan, and respectively by Svetlana Golubev.
The competition seemed more like a training for the coming EC, which are going to take place in February, in Prague.
