The tournament Taekwon - Do GTF "DINAMIC - CAHUL"

On February 27th, Cahul hosted the GTF Taekwon-Do "DINAMIC-Cahul" tournament . The tournament was organized by the "DINAMIC-Cahul" Taekwon-Do club in collaboration with the National Federation of Taekwon-Do and the local government. The DINAMO Club is led by Nicolae Dunas, the black belt beholder.

The competition gathered 170 athletes from all over the country - Chișinău, Hîncești, Cantemir, Ialoveni, Călărași, Lăpușna, Rezina, the representatives of the clubs "NIKAO", "STOLAS LEUKAS", "Adoni", "Elohim", "DUNAMIS" and "Dinamic".

The competition took place within the following categories: children, Juniors and Seniors, who competed in the traditional Taekwon-Do contests - Tull and Sparring.

The federation made sure the tournament to be held on a high level of organization. A special contribution was done by the Club President, Nicolae Dunas and the Mayor of Cahul, Gheorghe Zagorodnîi, for the suppport of the Taekwon-Do development in Moldova.

The Federation President, Ion Postu, declared that this tournament is a selection round for the Euro-Asian Cup which will be held in Almata, Kazakhstan in July. 

Taekwon-Do is a quite young martial art, but has already managed to conquer the hearts of millions of people worldwide. Taekwon-Do is one of the most popular martial arts in Moldova since 1990 which brings together thousands of followers across the country.
