Moldova was rewarded for tennis popularisation

The Republican contest for children, juniors and seniors, organized by the Moldova Tennis Federation has gathered all the lovers of this sport at the tennis club Zimbru. For the first this season, competed athletes from Chișinău, Tiraspol, Soroca and other regions of the country. 

The contest was a test for the candidates who want to join the international tournament KIDS Gomel in Belarus, where were invited the best tennis players players under 12 years. In the Women's final contest in this age category met the first two positioned participsnts of the National raiting - Alexandra Zaicenco and Daria Matveeva. At the end of a difficult game, victorious was Daria Matveeva, who won three sets, 5-7, 7-6, 14-12.

The activities ment to popularize tennis carried out by the specialist of the Republican Federation, were highly appreciated by the European forum, which placed Moldova on one of the leading continental ranking among the juniors.
