Igor Grabucea has won two medals at the European Championship



The weightlifter Igor Grabucea (56 kg) obtained two bronze medals at the European Championship organised in Bucuresti.

Summing up the results of the two contests, the Moldavian sportsmen has the 3rd position. He registered 246 kilograms (110 kg at the snatch contest and 136 kg at the jerk). The 2nd medal was obtained in the snatch contest.   

His opponent in the same category, Iurie Dudoglo was positioned on the 5th place, with a total of 240 kilograms.

The 32 years old sportsman has won before two other medals at the European Championships. In 2006 Grabucea became the beholder of the silver medal at the competition in Poland, and the next year in 2007 manged another bronze medal at a tournament in France.  

Today are going to start their competition Cristina Iovu (53 kg) siand Oleg Sârghi (62 kg).
