Ion Luchianov became the champion of the World Universiade

The Moldavian Ion Luchianov became the champion of the World Universiade. Our sportsman reached the first the finish line of the 3000 meters barriers race. The golden won by Luchianov is the 2nd in the history of our country since the beginning of this sportive forum. 

The time shown by Luchianov in the final of this competition is 8:25.79, just 10 seconds better than Halil Akkas from Turkey, the champion on the distance of 5000 meters. The third at the finish line was the German Steffen Ulicka.

Halil Akkas este deţinătorul recordului la Universiade pe distanţa de 300 metri cu obstacole. Acum doi ani, la Bangkok, turcul a arătat timpul de 8:20.83.

The world record on this distance belongs to Saif Said Şahin from Qatar. His time registered 5 years ago in Belgium  was 7.53.63.

The medal the meMedlia cucerită de Luchianov este a treia a sportivilor moldoveni la această Universiadă. A fost medalia de argint a atletei Olga Cristea pe distanţa de 800 metri şi medalia de bronz a lui Vladimir Letnicov la triplusalt.

Fiecare medalie de aur va fi răsplătită cu 8000 lei, ceade argint cu 7000 mii lei, iar ce de bronz cu 6000 mii lei.

De când participă la Universiade, Republica Moldova a cucerit 8 medalii, două de aur, 2 de argint şi 4 de bronz.
