New generation of players shines in Moldova

Moldova has got a new generation of footballers. They are currently preparing for the Division A Championship together with second teams of the top National Division teams. However, according to their coaches, they will soon be able to replace such stars as Oleg Şişchin, Ghenadie Orbu and Nicolae Calancea.

Igor Negrescu, Dacia-2 Buiucani head coach:

"We have a few players that I could recommend to Igor Dobrovolskiy. Of course, we still need have got work to do with them".

Vitalie Culibaba, Zimbru-2 head coach:

"We have footballers who train with the main team. We agreed with the Zimbru head coach that we would send players to the first team little by little".

Other Division A representives, Real-Succes Lilcora, are going to host their opponents at their new stadium next spring.

Vlad Copoţ, FC Tiraspol head coach:

"We don't want to get promoted to the National Division and relegated a year later. Our goal is to train the rising generation, develop our school and prepare our new field for games",

Fifteen teams might start competing in Division A on August 13. For the first time in many years, two top-placed clubs will get promoted to the National Division next summer while two bottom-placed ND teams will get related to Division A.
