Academia Chişinău will resume training today, on June 15, though it will be coached by a new expert. Oleg Bejenari and Vitalie Culibaba have been replaced by Moldova U-17 national team coach Veaceslav Rusnac, according to UEFA.com.
"I am happy to take over at such an ambitious club as Academia", said Rusnac. "This is a very young and progressive squad that showed good football in the last Championship. We are going to work hard in the off-season and try out a lot of players. I hope that we manage to do everything."
The Academia head coach has great achievements under his belt. He won the Moldova Football Championship with Zimbru in 2000 and the Futsal Championship with Zarea Bălţi and then went on to win the Beach Football Championshup with Palestra.
