The second day of the European Weightlifting Championship did not bring any medals to Moldova's strongmen. Iurie Dudoglo placed 8th out of 12 participants in the 62 kg weight category. The 19-year-old athlete athlete lifted 120 kg in the clean and jerk and 145 kg in the snatch. None of these results brought our strongman any medal and the aggregate result of 265 kg earned him just eighth place.
So far, Moldova's Oleg Sîrghi won a gold medal and Ghenadie Dudoglo earned a bronze medal in the clean and jerk.
The European Championship will be over on April 17.
