Moldovan athlete Moldovan athlete Ludmila Cristea won a gold medal at an international freestyle wrestling tournament dedicated to outstanding wrestlers and coaches and held in Kyiv. They brought together about 320 atheltes from over 20 countries.
Cristea beat Erika Nakatu (Japan) and Olga Butkevich (Great Britain) in the 59 kg weight category on her way to the top spot on the podium.
This tournament is a good preparation for the athlete ahead of the World Championship that will be held in Istanbul, Turkey two months later.
