Two Moldovan coaches celebrate 60-year anniversary

Two outstanding Moldovan coaches celebrated their 60-year anniversary on the same day. Brothers Ilie and Mihai Buiuc turned 60 years old. The coaches received congratulations from European and world sambo and judo champions, who were trained by them. High-profile Moldovan sports officials joined in with congratulations.

Octavian Bodişteanu, youth, education and sports vice minister:

"When our politicians learn to understand and help each other, how our martial arts coaches do, we will all make progress. Only when you learn to be happy with another's merits, God will grant you luck and high results".

Over their coaching career, brothers Buiuc have trained such athletes as Valeriu Duminica, Octavian Nacu, Vadim Bocan, Fiodor Lazarenco and many others. Despite their advanced age, the coaches keep training the rising generation.
